Single Thread RP The Terra

(Intentional)

Xueqing awkwardly scratches her head. "Just wanting to see what exactly is it."

Someone, of unknown identity, who has been wandering around for some time, hears the rumbling and rending of the earth as the mine golem awakes and the city screams. Flying into the air, the knight scans for hotspots of power — any power higher than that which is detected all across the golem's structure — in the distance, hoping to find where the golem's power comes from.
He might sense the power of what feels like a special gem in further place briefly... but the power feels irrelevant to the golem.

The sound... thereis definitely something down there.
Looking around, the lizardfolk might see a suspicious plate covering something. Maybe he can in down from there.

One of the heart-shaped objects, a yellow one, floats closer to the lizard, but is restricted by the glass jar.
(You thought you heard muffled screaming from down below.)
"Here I thought I was done with voodoo shenanigans."
*The Lizardfolk looks around the floor, and looks for an entrance into the basement. He kicks over the
plate, looking for an entrance. I glances at the floating heart shaped object, and narrows his eyes. Nevertheless, he looks down into the basement once the plate is gone.*

Down the ladder he goes. And with that, the basement is revealed. And it is... a mess.

Some scattered books, some test tubes and flasks on a desk, a part of them containing red matters, a ... Piano? And unnervingly, a DT Extractor. Like what you'd see in Undertale.

The person might be trapped somewhere else as the lizard doesn't see her immediately.

There are two doors that leads to another rooms.

*The Lizardfolk hisses in agitation, but moves cautiously towards the door on the right, trying to open it.*

(Right door! Now we must wait for Aster though.)

The right room seems to be... a prison. More blood are splattered here, seems like whoever had been trapped here had a bad fight. However, behind the bars, there actually is a survivor... A female figure.

"It's just a gem."
Song takes out the gem from her pocket to show it to Xueqing.

(Anyone who had played Sonic the Hedgehog series should be able to recognize this gem by just looking at it. Yeah Song doesn't play computer games so)

Xueqing takes a closer look.
Her expression suddenly shifts from curious and suspicious to recognizing and slightly shocked. "Um... this is not just any gem. Do wonder though why it appears here, but if the dark world and the knight all happened, it's... probably not a big surprise to see this."

Ossea just shakes her head wearily. She doesn't have time to wonder about anything. Nor energy.
Maybe she just has priorities in her head.

"...Well, it was floating, but that doesn't really tell me much either."
"You know what this is?"

"It's... a chaos emerald."
"From what I've known, there are at least seven of it. If someone has seven of this gem and has at least fifty gold rings, they can go to their super form a.k.a. have their abilities enhanced greatly and be almost invincible for as long as the rings can sustain... The form consumes one ring per second." Xueqing them looks aside, a bit uncertain. "However we so far hasn't seen any rings around. I remember that in some fictions its usage doesn't require rings, so it might work that way here..."

/Uh, one question. Isn't it like... arbitrary limit? Don't fictions usually get hit with reality checks for better or worse?/

Song raises a brow.
“…50 gold rings?”
“That seems awfully specific.”
“What if we had silver rings?”

“What if we had silver rings?”
"Sadly... It probably won't work with that." Xueqing shakes her head.

A shadowy blast is launched over to where Song and Xueqing are, and it abruptly stops moving to hover above the Chaos Emerald. It wavers slightly, displaying a silhouette of an open hand with an upturned palm.

Ossea gasps with surprise, whether blast connects or not.
"O-oh-"
She is speechless, just like the hunter beside her.

*The lizardfolk's eyes widen in surprise, then slowly approaches.*
"Excuse me, miss, can you hear me? I'm here to help you. I'm going to try to get you out of here and help you heal. Could you tell me if there's a key nearby?"
*The Lizardfolk walks around, seeing if there is anything to help free the woman. If not, he's ready to saw off the metal bars with his saber.*

"Sadly... It probably won't work with that." Xueqing shakes her head.
"...What's so special about gold specifically?"

Song just looks at the hand...and attempts to bat it away by swinging at it with her katana - still in its sheath.
