Here is the most constructive criticism i can give. Like other swords before it, it was the strongest sword for its tier/version. It makes since that there are stronger swords for 1.3 than it. The Terra Blade shouldn't be the "Strongest sword" And no I'm not directing it towards you, I am more as directing it towards anyone who wants a True Terra Blade.
 
I like it. The name's too generic, though.
How about giving it a more creative name? After all, being infused with the power of celestial night makes it more of an "unification."

An alternative to the Meowmere is always welcome.
 
Thanks for the input. I'll rethink the name. And I like your tooltip description better, I'll use it and give you credit for it. I'll set up a new thread when I'm finished fixing it up.
 
Step 1. Change the sprites, textures, effects & sounds of the Meowmere to that of the Terra Blade, via replacing some clientside assets.
Step 2. Admire how non-ridiculous your new amazing sword is
Step 3. Profit?!?!


I hate the new swords personally. So I replaced the Influx Waver and the 'mere's looks & sounds to better swords' counterparts.
 
Actually anyone have a better name for it because I only have one idea and it's the Twilight Blade.
 
Oh dear, the grind is real with this idea..
100-200 is 3-7 or so Lunar events, and the luminite is about 5 or so runs. Assuming you spend luminite and fragments on only that blade.
Make it as powerful as meowmere, with the Terra Blade projectile and such.
Then I may support.
 
I personally like Terra Blade, but it does pretty well even later. It's just that Meowmere outclasses it, due to bigger damage, better piercing ability and higher speed. That the weapon itself could use a buff, but True Terra Blade? Name doesn't match here. Spending a few Lunar Events and Moon Lord fights, just to get a weapon as powerful as Meowmere? What? It needs a bit of tweaking here.

Ohhh come on, we rangers got a dolphin and a firework and that's all for us!
If you don't like cats, you still have an awesome sword that rains down the very stars from the heavens, you don't have any reason to have even more swords.
You've got plenty of lategame options and you're asking for more, not fair.

At least your silly weapon is a cat. Cats are at least awesome predatory beasts of cute killing.
What is a dolphin? Something that saves people. Not killing people or scratching people or killing anything at all. Dolphins save people who then does what? Horribly murder said dolphin by poisoning and littering the ocean. Dolphins are indirectly killing themselves, they are suicidal practically and that's what our gun is modeled after, a suicidal animal.

I'm envy of the Meowmere, if ranged could have a cat gun instead of a fishgun, I'd be super happy.
Be proud you can swing the kitten blade of pure awesomeness.

Seriously, what did I just read.
It's a cool gun, and fits in with the whole "aquatic creature" gun thing.
Also, indirectly and inadvertently killing yourself through saving the very things that are killing you isn't suicide. It's more-so betraying trust, really.
