Do not confuse 'notice' with 'want to add to the game'. As awesome as it would be for this to get added, the likelihood is extremely low, especially since the dev team is smaller now.

That said, yeah, the fact that Cenx commented on this and clearly liked it IS impressive in it's own right.

They laugh when they bite you. They're "Laughing Hyenas". The cackle association makes them whimsical.

I've seen this sentiment (and share it in fact) but have seen each one replied to the same way. There won't be a mod for these at least until they're done, and possibly a time after. Sorry if this comment seems out of line, if so I will refrain in future.

This is a great suggestion. I actually have an idea: you know how the meteor swords for pre and post Wall of Flesh both start with Phase?
You could do the same thing with the Beam Saber, change its name to Phasemore or Phaserapier or something.

Introduction

The Whimsy is an alternate Hallow biome inspired by folklore, magic, and fairy tales. I intentionally made The Whimsy as a sister-biome to the Hallow; they are thematically similar but overall are still very different. Hopefully this allows you to enjoy The Whimsy more so. Like all of my biome suggestions, you can expect a lot of pop culture references and a hidden goodie or two providing insight for the next biome suggestion. Welcome to The Whimsy!
