The Whimsy is an alternate Hallow biome inspired by folklore, magic, and fairy tales. I intentionally made The Whimsy as a sister-biome to the Hallow; they are thematically similar but overall are still very different. Hopefully this allows you to enjoy The Whimsy more so. Like all of my biome suggestions, you can expect a lot of pop culture references and a hidden goodie or two providing insight for the next biome suggestion. Welcome to The Whimsy!

Whimsy grass glows like the grass found in the Mushroom Biome. The spread of The Whimsy behaves just like The Hallow, including the inability to spread through mud.
Woozyshrooms stack as three, despite which color you harvest. When placed, a random color out of the three is selected. Unlike Crystal Shards, Woozyshrooms can grow on Whimsy Grass; thus being able to be found on the surface.
Boros are quick and rush the player. Occasionally, a Boro will stop and lay an egg. After 5 seconds, the egg will become another Boro. Boros additionally have a 20% chance to spawn an egg on death.
Umbrellementals only appear during rain and behave like Gastropods and attack similarly. They don't, however, deal melee damage at all. Their tops glow.
Trance Rabbits are very weak, but can be very dangerous to the player. The Trance Rabbit's priority is to heal other enemies around it and cast buffs on them before attacking the player. Trance Rabbit can cast Swiftness, Wrath, and Ironskin on it's allies. Their ears glow.
Cheshires are an uncommon enemy. When hit, the Cheshire will automatically teleport to a new location and restart it's Caster attacks. Cheshires have a 20% chance to drop a random item from the following pool; Rainbow Brick, Ruby, Amber, Emerald, Sapphire, Amethyst, Diamond, Topaz, Glowing Mushroom, and Confetti
Carbuncle is a rare enemy (Nymph like rarity). It attacks the player by firing a laser from it's ruby forehead. When killed, the player will attain the Spelunker buff for 30 seconds. It gives off a strong light.
Vertigo Tale launches mushroom caps that bounce. When they impact enemies, they explode and cause Confusion. Vertigo Tale behaves similarly to Cursed Flames.
The Side-Splitter functions like Possessed Hatchet. It has a 20% chance to cause enemies to become Confused and Bleed. When this happens, the Side-Splitter laughs.
The Haze Harp fires a steady plume of smoke, causing damage to enemies with a 25% chance to cause Confuse and Venom. The Haze Harp behaves like the Clentaminator in the way that it is fired, but with a much shorter range.

The White Queen functions much like the Blizzard Staff. However, the White Queen summons falling White Rabbits which explode on impact dealing damage in an area. The exploding rabbits make a noise similar to attacking/destroying Meteor Heads.
There's supposedly a fish who adapts to the imaginations of nearby people. I wonder if it will turn into a normal fish around me. Fish it up from the magic waters of The Whimsy and we'll find out!
Listen up! There's huge trouble in the Whimsy waters. Some sort of invasive species with a powerful bite. Fish it out of there to protect all of the other fish!
And you've done it again... This just keeps getting better and better.
The format is a winner, once again, and the use of spoilers to signify the NPC dialogue is very nice. As for the suggestion in its entirety; very well done. I love the inspiration on folklore and fairy tales, you've touched a concept that hasn't really been developed all that much before, so points on that. Even if this is "another one of those Hallow alts" you've really hit the bullseye and made the suggestion unique.
Nice signature, by the way, it's getting me excited for what's next to come.
This... is nothing short of incredible. Not only does it possess stunning visuals (each meticulously crafted and more aesthetically pleasing than the next), no object seems to be out of place; all fit the theme perfectly. You've clearly placed a lot of effort into this, fleshing it out thoroughly, and going far above and beyond one's expectations. Phenomenal work; you have my support.
Within minutes of posting this, you've already come to possess the approval of the lead developer. Nothing can claim itself to be a clearer indicator of talent than that.
Amazing idea! One thing I should point out. The Rainbow Slime spawns in the Hallow, but not on hallow blocks. Will there be an alternate for the Rainbow Slime, or will it stay the same as if it was the Hallow?
