from what i've seen, abigail's flower is a minion that gets overlooked quite a bit. new players might randomly find it on the ground, try it for a bit, decide that it sucks (which is fair, it's not that good in pre hardmode) and throw it away
despite being a pre-hardmode minion, it performs quite well in hardmode due to receiving a substantial damage buff, especially when used against the destroyer with firecracker. however, there is absolutely zero way for a new player to know this fact without using external sources. i've seen many players try summoner and become hardstuck at the start of hardmode because (they think) they need to kill queen slime or dreadnautilus with spiders, which is quite an arduous task
i think it would help to add a sentence to the tooltip that hints to abby's flower being more effective in hardmode. something like "defeat the guardian of the world to unleash the true power of this weapon"
