Things that you didn't realize were in the game for the longest time?

I just checked and the only weird thing I could find was about the increased knockback not working too well for most weapons, which isn't even the main selling point of the item anyway.

Salmon can only be caught in bodies of water larger than 1000 tiles in a Forest, so you've probably never had a big enough fishing pond.

It's an example of an item that once had a use, a long time ago, but other items/progression/strategies made it obsolete.

The only thing I use purification powder is saving the tax collector... the only reason I save the tax collector is so I can get the princess.

I’ve known this for a while but it doesn’t seem like super common knowledge yet: explosive projectiles can’t be reflected.

Selenians, Biome Mimics, and Dreadnautilus can reflect projectiles.

There’s actually a very specific set of weapons you’re able to use at the same time as the Flying Knife, including the Phantasm, Ice Bow, and several others. This means that you can use an ichor flask to apply ichor without switching from these weapons.

Now, you might not know this, but the monk set had more defense than the stardust armor set. I know Terraria logic is broken, and that can be funny, but this is simply broken. This isn't much big of a deal, don't change it, but it makes no sense.
