It's been a while since the super duper fast way of getting infinite money by shimmering timers was patched, hasn't it?
Anyway, I found another way. It isn't as fast as the old method, but it should suffice.

Alright. Here's how you do it, this'll be very simple.
First set up all the npcs you want in your mushroom (or mushroom jungle) biome.

What you'll need:
- A loom
- The Dryad
- A mushroom biome.
- Access to Shimmer
- Disabling frameskip (if you have a monitor with a high framerate this can drastically increase your crafting speed)
- Hybridizing your mushroom biome with the Jungle. You can do it with a similar setup to the above image.
- The Witch Doctor
- The Princess
- The Truffle
- Discount Card

- Buy Mushroom Grass seeds from the Dryad.
- Shimmer all of them into Jungle Grass Seeds
- Use your loom to convert them into green thread.
- Sell the thread to your happiest npc. If you have the optimized setup in the above image, the Princess will likely suffice.

I haven’t timed it for more than a bit but it should be around 50 platinum at the bare minimum assuming my calculations are right. It really depends on your framerate though.how much do you get In an hour of doing this

This is a cool setup to make, but in practise it might be too much effort for what you need the money for
A trip to the jungle with some bottles can get you hundreds of Abeemination materials which you can farm for good money both Pre-HM and HM.
For higher risk higher reward, you can farm truffle worms with a Water Candle in a good farm (mine out tunnels in the mud for surface area it can spawn on) to grind out plenty of Duke Fishron coin.
These require a bit more effort but are much faster and easier to do to make good money than an infinite money setup. Luck can
you but I find that 10 plat can reforge even Post ML gear to any modifier you want.

If your dryad and other npc you sold the threads to were both happy enough, you should have made up the difference and profited off this! Enjoy your infinite money!
