fresh gog install sound works perfect but if i patch it then no sound at all and the in game sound slider says 0% i changed it and the music slider resets to 0% on clickng anywhere and the other changes (ambient and game) do not save on sound menu close .. so i went into the games config folder and put it to 50% and after relaunching it now says 5000% and acts identical with no sound atall. this is no mods windows 10. checked that the game is not muted in anyway. reinstalled tried again its the patch causing he sound blackout. 'update' ~ two terraria exe in terraria main dirctory "Terraria.exe" "Terraria_1.3.4.4.exe" one works flawless no mod menu.. one has mod menu loads silently.. now its suddenly working with sound.. mby alt tab fixed it ?? o_O wtf is going on. lool more testing

The Terraria.exe is the one that was patched and that is why it shows the mod menu. The Terraria_1.3.4.4.exe is a backup of the unpatched Terraria.exe so users can still play unmodded if they wish.

I've just rechecked patching a fresh install on Windows 10 and didn't have any of the sound issues you experienced. The patching process is very simple as these things go and if patching works is very unlikely to introduce bugs of its own. If I had to guess, perhaps it was something in that version of TML, something inherent in the GOG version, or something particular to your computer. Since you say that it started working after alt-tabbing, it was most likely some weird combination of things that has worked itself out. ` At least it is working for you now. :)

thanks anyway.. computer are wierd lol.. its fixed now somehow.. even though i could swear this exact setup was broken an hour ago

I have a problem, please help

Based on the Terraria.exe hash that it found (F28E28B8B03CC01D8D716537301609FD8E2E6BCCF95F8EB8531259E5BD409D6B), it appears you have the Steam version of Terraria and this patcher is only for the GOG version of Terraria. If you wish to install TML, please use the Steam installer that can found in the opening post of TML's thread. :)

There seems to be two issues. First, it doesn't appear that you have any of the .dat patch files downloaded to the application's Patches folder. Secondly, and more importantly, there are no GOG TML patches for Terraria versions before 1.3.2.1 and you are trying to patch version 1.3.0.7. You will have to update to at least version 1.3.2.1 before you can install TML.

Assuming you are on Windows, which it seems you are by the screenshot, the .dat patch files should go in the 'C:\Users\<Your User>\Documents\My Games\Terraria\TMLGOGPatcher\Patches' folder. If you have the .dat file in that directory and it doesn't show up in the application, then try restarting the application. If it still doesn't show up, then I'm not sure what the issue could be.

If the manual installer zip works for you, then that is good at least. The manual installer zip for the latest version has been released and is linked in the post directly above yours.
That's :red:ing terrible , i spend 2 hours trying to make it work but nope it's so :red:ing bad jesus

I'm sorry that you can't get it working. If you can provide some more details about what isn't working, I'd be happy to try and help figure it out.

dude thanks
that manual installer is like 2x times easier than the patcher dx

I'm glad it works for you. I knew some people would prefer the manual installer, but other people were having tons of problems with the manual installer so that is why the application exists, in addition to needing a way for non-windows users to patch their game.

I'm still working to improve the application, but it is slow going as I have several other projects that take up most of my time. Once I get the ability to autodetect and auto-download the patch files, the application should be on a lot better footing.

Anyway, I'm glad you got it working and can play modded GOG Terraria, that is all that really matters in the end. :)

yep already no-lifing with mods :d
really happy youre here xd
i sometimes have problems with it but if i reload the mods again and again it works just fine
