Tmodloader 1.4 Alpha Steam Mod not launching

My friend and I just recently bought Terraria and we wanted to play with some mods so we both find out that Tmodloader is also available on steam we download it and we put it as 1.4 Stable Alpha it works fine for me but for my friend it isn't working at all when he opens it it does a bunch of stuff and then closes and nothing happens currently I am getting my new PC tomorrow so I can't compare my files with his. We have tried so much and it still doesn't work please help
