So I Tried hosting a server for tmodloader and it worked but my friend couldn't connect. I am using hamachi and I've used it before on other games like minecraft, but it isn't working for terraria.
I asked my friend to host the server and it worked but he doesn't have the best computer so he was lagging, like really bad. I did the same steps as his for hosting the server but it didnt work
I was using tmodloaderserver.exe and I put tmodloader in a diffrent folder than vanilla. Also he did to. So I was asking if any of you know how to use multiplayer tmodloader correctly. ^-^
 
Launch the server application and go through the things to set up the world. I don't think Hamachi works for tMod, but I don't know. I'd also recommend using the start-tmod-server-friends file. It allows people to join you through Steam instead of IP.
