Suspicious larvae could be the summoning item for the behemoth.
I don't think we need another "suspicious" item, considering neither wormfood nor bloody spine is named in such a manner.Suspicious larvae could be the summoning item for the behemoth.
Yeah sorry, I'm not the best thinker in the world when it's just before 11 o'clockI don't think we need another "suspicious" item, considering neither wormfood nor bloody spine is named in such a manner.
Who is at that time of day though?Yeah sorry, I'm not the best thinker in the world when it's just before 11 o'clock![]()
Well back then it made the most sense since adding TWO different "good" biomes just to make the circle add up seemed really unnecessary at the time. What I was interested in was the RBG-patterns that I kept seeing everywhere. Glad you like it!I didn't get to read this back on TO, mostly because you were sugesting 3 "evils" vs 1 "good" (your circle had 4 segments).
However, I'm really liking this sugestion. I really like the colour scheme of the biome.
Let me check the Convert now.
Though the Corrosion with more corrosive concepts was the original, I realized after posting the thread that almost nothing fit under that description at all, and since it was always supposed to be the origin of zombieism, a disease, I instead chose this more fitting name. It's a plague ridden marsh after all. The gear is indeed corroded, but that comes from rust, not acid.Still absolutely love this whole idea, but I liked it being called "The Corrosion" better. All the enemies could have acidic properties, and perhaps even the water would be acidic.
Maybe the Corrosion could be a metallic evil that's all rusted....hmm.
This one still makes more sense.
Thanks a lot for your idea, it could most certainly work a lot better than the current replacement, something I've been aiming to get to for a long time now. I'll start thinking of implementing your idea right away, seeing as it's basic concept fits the tier very well.Oh hey, did I hear you need more ideas for a vilethorn replacement? 'Cause I have one.
Ahem, here goes:
The basic mechanic would be somewhat similar to the rain clouds, except the projectile latches onto walls for a short period of time, and releases a semi-sizable cloud of... idk, farts or flies or something, on impact, that deals damage to enemies that step into it. It has no knockback, but it slows enemies down slightly, meaning they can walk straight through it, with a bit of resistance.
I imagine the item itself would be a gross bone thing (like a rotten chunk without the meat, except with a longer bone) which has a tiny eater on the end latched onto it (presumably consuming whatever rotten remains of flesh remain on it) which when the player swings it, hurls the tiny eaters in the direction that the player clicks, which as I said, will latch on to any surface in it's wake. The projectile itself would pass through enemies, dealing minimal to no damage before it latches onto something. After the timer runs out (I imagine it lasting about as long as the crimson rod, maybe a bit shorter) the eater pops like a grenade with a neat little particle effect after which the poison cloud dissipates. Haha.
Keep in mind that those are just theories, easily traceable and motivated theories mind you, but still not officially confirmed.dude how the contagion itscreated? the crimson its the blood of a titan and in the corruption the orbs fall of the sky!
That's a really cool interpretation, Way to go!Remember when I said that I was going to make some fan art of this biome back onto, way back then? Well...
Here's a Burrower
No problem! I'm glad to be of service, haha. Can't wait to see how you'll tinker with it. I may do I mockup of how I imagined it to look, if I get the time, haha. Thanks a lot for your idea, it could most certainly work a lot better than the current replacement, something I've been aiming to get to for a long time now. Yes, I realized that as well and I'm currently trying to do something about it.Love the new sprites for the behe-moth by the way, very awesome! Although the second states' wings look a tiny bit too bland to me, but otherwise, great work all around.
Looking much better already! I like it!*snip*
