An option somewhere to disable rendering yours and other players' vanity would be nice for PVP. With this on it would look to you like nobody had anything in any vanity slots.

You can currently see other players' equipped vanity items, and the server has to know what armor everyone's actually wearing so i don't see what information required isn't available to render actual armor instead of vanity.
