I made a underground 3 thick dungeon brick box, will this prevent the corruption?
Too lazy but will this work against corruption?

I think so. You can also dig a 4 or 5 block wide gap a round your house to prevent Corruption from getting to it.

Keep in mind that the Corruption can grow thorns. The thorns can grow over your containment box and spread the Corruption further. If you really want to keep the Corruption out, seeding some Hallow around your base is another possibility. (That of course depends on if you want the Hallow near your base.)
