mine are probably:
5. SDMG
4. Stardust Dragon Staff
3. Lunar flare
2. Phantasm
1. Last prism

Honourable mention: Terrarian
 
My top 5 faves are...
5. Minishark (for aesthetic and nostalgia reasons, and for crystal bullets!)
4. Vampire Knives (I just like this one, and for nostalgia!)
3. Fetid Baghnakhs (I like how fast they are)
2. Betsy's Wrath (Very fun!)
1. Star Wrath (I really really love stars...)

If I had to choose to just use one of them, tho, I couldn't pick. All the weapons are really nice xD

It's basically a gun and a rocket launcher in one, excellent for crowd control, and it also has a 66% chance not to consume ammo. I do however replace it once I get the SDMG but my Terraria luck isn't great so I usually have to kill the Moon Lord tons of times to get it.
 
5. Uzi (fun as all hell to use)
4. Flying Dragon (good for exploring, pierces)
3. Lunar Flare (really good and efficient for large crowds)
2. Pulse Bow (even if it's hard to get, it's really fun to use)
1. Aerial Bane (really satisfying and I love the arrow sprites)

Honorable Mention: Bladetongue
 
Not really best weapons…
1. Boomstick (nostalgia :D)
2. Minishark (even more nostalgia)
3. Star cannon (Still more!)
4.
Onyx Blaster (should be illegal)​
