Mobile Touch controls + gamepad/controller

Hi. I would like to play using a gamepad and keep using some of my touch controls (zoom, aim virtual joystick, smart cursor toggle, some others). However, as soon I use any of the gamepad buttons then the touch interface hides and this is preventing me to simultaneously use the touch interface controls and gamepad at the same time. Is it possible to lock the touch interface so that it is always visible? Even when using any gamepad buttons

I don't believe so.

The mobile UI hides so that people using a controller can see the screen as they would on a console. As far as I know there isn't anything you can do here, sorry.

I was excpecting that answer, I know that what I'm trying to do is a bit uncommon. Wondering if there is a hidden developer option or something I can change in the config files(some games allow this) to keep the overlay on?
