Don't know if Im reading the defense equation wrong or not, but as written, it makes no sense. As written, you get better damage reduction from having less defense than having more, regardless of damage.
For example, say that you have 1 defense.
Then your damage taken = damage * 1/(1 + 80)
Or, in another way, damage taken = damage * (1 - 0.988)
98.8% damage protection from 1 defense, regardless of damage. That cant be right.
Then at higher defenses, say 160 for example, calculation is as follows:
Damage taken = damage * (160)/((160) +80)
= damage * 2/3
= damage * (1-0.333)
33.3% damage protection from 160 defense, regardless of damage.
I have to be missing something,right?
I have not used the mod yet, so I dont know if theyve made some weird accomodation for this. This is the one thing holding me back from using this mod. Would really like a clarification on this.
Edit: Got this clarified in the discord server, apparently they meant damage reduced instead of damage taken, which solves the issue.
