Mobile transfer characters/worlds to new device

hey guys,
i played terraria on an old ipad air, but now with the new update i got excited, but the ipad is now old and slower. i have a newer ipad with the same apple id, and a phone with a different apple id but i have family sharing with the 3 devices. i would mainly play on my new ipad, but i would like to transfer to my phone too. how would i transfer to these new devices?

Hi there, welcome to the forums.

As long as all devices have the most updated version of 1.3 and are at least on iOS 11 (in order to utilize the Files App), you can transfer the character and world files between them.

If the device isn’t on version 1.3 for Terraria, or doesn’t have the Files App, it’s not possible to transfer to or from.
