Transferring over Map Data from mobile to PC

Unfortunately, Mobile Terraria's minimap files are currently not compatible with PC Terraria. We're looking into the possibility of supporting this in the future, but as of this moment I can not make any promises. I can however manually convert your minimap to a PC compatible version. If you are comfortable sharing it with me, I'll get right to it.

For the time being, you should remove the minimap file from your character folder: because the game can not overwrite it, it will discard all your new map data every time you exit your world.

Hello, sorry to bother you but I just did the same transfer of mobile Terraria data to PC after I tested if I can join a normal mp PC Terraria server and I have with no issues and encountered the same .map visibility issue when I carried over the .plr , .wld and etc files from singleplayer. I renamed the .wld files to be able to differentiate on my PC currently the .bak ones contain the original names just for info. Can you please do the same for me so that my mobile minimap is visible on PC ? Thank you a ton in advance
