I found out that trees on mowed grass don't drop acorns.

Apparently, neither do Mahogany trees, according to a bug report not too long ago.

Thanks for the report superwill771! I was able to reproduce this. Can't think of a reason why they wouldn't drop acorns so I'll report this.
