Please if you have dragon cave eggs, put it in the signature. It is rude and I think against the rules to post it on a comment.
 
This would actually give me a legitimate reason to hold onto my copper short sword until later, as usually I get anywhere from 3-5 broken hero swords each solar eclipse.
 
I really want this in the game now, there needs to be more uses for Broken Hero Swords! (I'm actually a Terra Blade collector, with 14 Terra Blades so far)

Broken Hero Swords should upgrade old weapons, and considering all the easter eggs in Terraria currently, if we bug Red bout this long enough he miiiight add it :p
I cant wait to beat Duke Fishron with a Copper Shortsword! This is an awesome idea and I love it! (even if it may be a joke, but I still freaking love it!)

I think that it would be cooler if it was a hidden weapon that you could only craft if you had your original copper shortsword.
