Weapons & Equip True Copper Shortsword - A new hardmode throwing weapon

I can just imagine this. Throw the sword once, then take out 5 probes, throw it, hit the destroyer 5 times, throw it, hit 5 more probes.
It's like Captain America, but better.

Okay sorry to say but i dont understand how people like
the idea of a "somehow magic" sword that flies to your
opponent.
I would rather want it as a short sword you are.
Kinda destroying the idea of a shortsword ;) So remove the throwing idea.

(sorry for saying this because i realise that your idea is based around it)

And for a more special craftingmethod?

Make it so it has to be the starting copper short sword and that you have to
do something special with the sword before you can make it to the true version
like a ritual for example:
Equip the guide voodoo doll and clothier doll and kill your self in lava in the underworld? sounds interesting to me.

The copper short sword (that you had to have in your inventory while commiting suicide) becomes: The Chosen Short Sword

and the chosen sword doesnt have any difference except for being chosen xD
and the tru short sword works like a normal short sword so increasead damage is also needed ;)

Thats the point of it... it is The Chosen Sword... xD
it is like with the Arkhalis is is SO rare so i use it even in late hardmode because... simply it is fun to use xD
i would try my best to get this item ! xD

The True Copper Shortsword is an exciting weapon, but, if I have to suicide just for obtain it... I would go for the Blade of Terra...
Let's come to subject, it's a cool throwing weapon, I really really like it :)

well yeah but the true copper short sword shouldnt just become the totally oposite of what it is normally just because it is "true"

i would rather keep the meme on going... it is the last weapon that should be turned in to a throwin weapon... change it to an axe
that is not a copper short sword...

A shortsword is a very difficult weapon to use, and having one in Terraria mid hardmode would be suicide.

Transforming the suggestion to fit your own personal wants, going against mostly everyone else who has posted on this thread's opinion on how one person's suggestion worked. The concept was so original, and made a otherwise useless weapon somewhat useful...that is why this got so damn popular with the community.
 
What is your point? saying that iam badass going against the whole community?

because i would rather keep it as it is now then...
