Xbox 360 Truffle Keeps dieing

Any time I come near BAM "truffle was slain" all the time... I always have to wait for him to respawn to trade or anything with him and during that time u have to stay close to the house.

It sounds like your Truffle may be wandering off and into dangerous areas. If you have water nearby where he could drown, some lava from a farm that he could accidentally step into, or even a hellevator nearby. Try to watch where he's walking around and see if there are any obstacles that might not seem dangerous to you - but might be dangerous for a poor helpless NPC.
