NPCs & Enemies Turret: Post mechanical boss enemies.

These spawn underground, either on ceilings, sides of blocks, or on the ground. They resemble futuristic turrets, and spawn underground after one mechanical boss dies.

Turrets are immobile, and shoot you with certain projectiles, depending on the model:

Gatling Turret: Keeps shooting bullets at the player at a fast rate, but occasionally jams. Weakest and most common model. It has a thin and long barrel. Drops many Empty Bullets. This one doesn’t matter who is beaten to spawn; kill any single mechanical boss to spawn it.

Laser Drone: Only mobile one; it slowly floats around, and resembles an eye. It shoots red lasers like Retanizer at a fast rate; these bounce off walls. It drops..idk. It might spawn post Twins.

Buzzsaw Launcher: Throws buzz saws that slide on blocks. Shoots slower rounds than the previous model, but are deadlier, since these cause Bleeding. It resembles a saw with a gun base. It drops a Buzzsaw Gun, which copies the attack, and has ammunition. Might spawn Post Prime.

Sinister Laser Turret / Ichor Beam Turret: Spawns in underground evil biomes, and kinda resembles the biome it is based on. It shoots a continous laser of energy that follows the player, dealing Cursed Inferno in Corruption, or Ichor in Corruption. The second hardest turret family to kill. It probably drops the evil ingredient it uses as an element. Spawns Post-Destroyer.

Hellfire Turret: Spawns Post Plantera. It shoots cluster rockets that don’t affect terrain. Occasionally spawns a forcefields that protects it from much damage. The hardest turret to kill.

I imagine these can somehow be repurposed for sentries to players that kill them.

These seem rather pointless. An immobile enemy doesn't work well in Terraria's combat system, which is very focused on mobility.
