Hi all!

My partner and I live in the same property and therefore share the same IP address. We wanted to play 1.4 with a friend, but for some reason only one of us can join the server at a time.

Here's what we do.
  1. I join my friend's multiplayer game through steam and connect to his game.
  2. My partner loads up Terraria, gets an invite to the same game from our friend.
  3. She joins the server - I immediately get kicked off.
  4. I try and rejoin the server - she immediately gets kicked off.
  5. She tries to rejoin the server - I immediately get kicked off.
  6. And so on....
Only one of us can be on the server at the same time, and we never had any issues pre 1.4. We are both running the latest update. I am running Windows 10, my partner is running Mac OS X, but I dont see how the operating system factors into it.

One thing that's possible is that my partner has logged into my computer and we have Steam Family Sharing enabled, so I can play some of her steam games. We both own Terraria on Steam though - so I'm not "borrowing" her copy, but yet one of us still gets kicked off when we try and join the server.

Would anybody be able to give us a hand in solving this? It would be much appreciated.
