This has been bothering me for the longest time now, the way this number (shown below) is almost in the center of the item UI can get annoying. A big part of the original sprite is covered, which is really disorienting for small sprites like dyes here, and especially more so if it gets into 4-digit numbers. Please give us an option to either make this number smaller or push it more to the bottom left corner, or do both.
As you can see here, the number conflicts with the sprites pretty badly, especially in the case of 4-digit, where it's very hard to tell the difference between Brown Dye, Brown and Silver Dye, and Brown and Black dye. If it wasn't for the lid being different, it would be impossible. This limits what resource packs can do with items like these; as it will, in one way or another, force them to make dyes with different lids.
__
When we remove the number, it becomes super easy to distinguish.
I used dyes as an example because they are good examples of items that are affected the most by the location of this number, they're small, and have lots of variants and I just think that the UI stack number shouldn't be what's making us fail to distinguish the difference between all the different dyes. For items with "bigger" sprites, this isn't such a problem.
