Linux Unable to play on 4k resolution

ItsPupZ

Terrarian
Steam or GOG: Steam
Terraria Version: 1.4.0.2
Single Player/Multiplayer: Both
Controls Used: Keyboard/Mouse
Operating System: Linux Manjaro XFCE

I play using UHD (3840 x 2160) and after the new Terraria update came out I noticed the option for UHD was completely gone from the Terraria video settings (so it only maxes to 1920x1080). Whenever I tried full-screening using the HD option (1920x1080) the game sits in the top left corner.I used to be able to use the HD res prior with it also scaling-up normally - whereas it doesn't do that now. I've never had this kind of issue with Terraria until now.

I cannot play Terraria properly using windowed or fullscreen. The only way I can play Terraria right now is by switching my actual desktop resolution back down to HD.

(basically this is what I see while playing the game...)

Bottom left "version" and right the "cursor" are the edges from 1080p.
Alt+enter makes full screen but the game doesn't change it rly, max reso avaiable is 1080p.
Edited the Strartingparameters & json file without success.

I have the same problem. My monitor is 2560x1440. I'm having to play in windowed mode 1920x1080.

Please fix this, guys. If I do fullscreen non-windowed, I can't move my cursor outside what the windowed resolution would be, so I can't click settings for example because that is down the bottom right of the screen.

Hi there @ItsPupZ @Livore @Hailoz @rinf

Here is information from the Official - KNOWN/REPORTED Journey's End Issues thread
Issue: 4k Resolution settings do not work properly on Mac/Linux
Present In: All 1.4 Versions, Mac/Linux only
Status: Known
Status: TBD
More Info: 1.4 does not actually have formal Mac/Linux support due to logistical issues, though Mac/Linux should run mostly fine for the average user. There are some technical issues such as this that we are looking into, and will aim to have a fix for in later versions.
