PC Unable to play the game whatsoever

Whenever attempting to start Terraria on my pc, after about 30 seconds the memory usage climbs to 85% before the game closes.. I have no characters, worlds, etc and have tried reinstalling multiple times and i'm still being hit with this issue consistently. Any advice from what to try as of now would be appreciated.
