Mobile Unable to type with Google Keyboard

Unable to type using Google Keyboard during character creation where you enter the character's name. The keyboard will display, although does not recognize any keys that are tapped. The fix to this is to exit the game and change the keyboard in the Android Settings. For example, this happened on a Galaxy S3 and instead of the Google Keyboard I had to change it to Samsung Keyboard.

It works fine on my Nexus 7, so this runs a little deeper than just Google Keyboards.
