Casual Unpopular Opinion Thread

This is unbelievably relatable, some kid has a massive superiority complex at my school and once said to me "You know youre just a (R word) and nobody likes you, right?" These types of comments infuriate me to no end.
Have you tried telling the teachers about other children's horrible behavior?

My school personally never does anything. The worst is a lecture for all the boys in the grade because the principal is too scared to pick out the problems.
About that... I said something I shouldnt have said in response. (the Low Tier God insult)
Oh believe me, I say worse to these people.

I know from experience that saying mean things in response to mean things will only escalate the situation.
And even if your teachers and/or principals don't do anything about bullies, I'm sure it'll be possible to find out the phone numbers of the parents of the bullies so that your parents can call the parents of the bullies so that the parents of the bullies can tell the bullies to stop bullying.

A lot of the time this behaviour is learnt from the parents.

I hate when people shorten like 3 letter words. Like yes being shortened to ye. First of all, the S key is RIGHT BELOW E. It's like people take more effort to disobey their muscle memory and not type the S. Second of all, basically all phones will autocorrect ye to yes by default, so why on earth would to brute force yourself to say ye instead? Nobody thinks it's cool or quirky!
I understand variations of already short words like "yeah" because we say that so much in real life it seems standard even to type it out. But nobody says "ye" in real life and if you do I will make fun of you

I use "ye" situationally when I'm trying to go with a weird vibe but otherwise I agree

here's one from me:
i actually liked the "Chill guy" meme, it lived way too short imo
it's also far less "brainrot-y" than whatever came before or after it (don't wanna risk saying cause one of them is political and the all of the others are sensitive in some way)
tbh it was kinda like H🤮wk Tuah where you see hundreds of memes that are hating on it but barely see the actual meme itself...

We should stop using BC/BCE and AD/CE and just use negative and positive numbers. That's essentially what the BC/BCE system is just this would be more consistent
i absolutely support this

The amount of effort one has to put to find someone's phone number just for it to not guarantee punishment (Some kids act like this because their parents just let them and spoil them) is far more than the effort it would take the school to suspend them. No kid should have to put in so much effort for the littlest amount of justice.

That "littlest amount of justice" isn't as little as you think.
If a bully suffers consequences for bullying, the bully will learn that bullying has consequences.
If someone never learns that bullying has consequences, they might apply that ignorance to more serious crimes, thinking that those crimes don't have consequences either.
Stopping a bully now could prevent that bully from becoming a criminal later in life.
