oh boy an opinion thread:

1) I think god put us here to observe how we react to each other, not to praise him/her/it/Cthulhu
2) I think it is okay for news channels to report mundane things, because reporting too much negative real life stuff will make them lose viewers
3) schools need to stop trying to force everyone into the same routine, each class learns differently
4) chocolate is disgusting unless it has peanut butter in it
5) i love peanut butter (a lot)
6) We need laws to help population control
7) weed shouldn't be legalized (unless for medical porpoises)
8) I am too observant for my own good (i've dissociated myself from most of my family due to this)
9) Taxes should be raised (but used more cautiously)
10) nobody shouldn't expect respect just because of social status or age
11) We are most likely alone in this universe (if not, we will eventually be at war with whoever)
12) The concept of being a vegan is counterproductive (unless a majority of the population becomes vegan)
13) I complain too much and i treat most of my observations as revelations >.>
14) this list can go on for eternity
15) ignorance is the reason why we will die out (not some mythical end of the world prophecy)
16) Most people that claim to be christian never opened up the bible, much less abide to most of Christianity's rules
17) people who do not vote do not have the right to complain about who is in office
18) ending any numerical list with an odd number is bad for your health

Ahh here is where I can release de_freedom.

So here we go:

Calling someone gay or pretty much saying something about someone (like let'sa say for example someone offends someone else by saying to him that he takes pills), there will ALWAYS be that part of society that feel the need to say this : That comment offends people who take pills.
NO IT ING DOESN'T. NO IT DOESN'T. This thing is so much used like a ing lolipop, you can just pop this up like "ouuhh by saying that you're offending gay people etc", no I'm not, and I'm quite positive they don't care about my opinion.


Christians. Oh boy Christians.
Most christians have no idea what the bible even says, and the most fun part is when you say to them this (I tell this to all those obsesed with religion people):
God said, that he created humans "from my own look and my own behavior" (might not be tranlsated exact, I know this in Greek that way, sorry for that), so that means God is also a thief, a psychopath, a killer and many other horrible things. Of course if you say that they might hung you from the fifth floor.

Media in general.
The reason why this world is going to . Here in Greece the "politicians" (more like a bag if steaming pile of ), are pretty much anal ing us by increasing the taxes, and the money that are given to them is being used for personal use (of course, what else would they do) and the media ing shows who goes out with who, or the iphone ing 6.
Yeah let's show that, and not the old lady that killed herself because of her extremely low salary.

• I do totally believe in God (and only one god, Allah), since I am a Muslim and Muslims have to learn EVERYTHING about their religion (they even teach us about Islam in school) that makes me even more sure that I am going in the right way and not just taking a blind way.

This is a thread that asks people to post unpopular opinions. I posted an opinion, and your reaction kinda proves that it is unpopular.

I think that religion is a stupid thing to have and it should be removed from society. When has it helped instead of hindered? Think of all wars in history; practically all of them are from religion.

Can we not with the argument which will evidently solve nothing, if you came in this thread expecting an opinion you agree with you're obviously in the wrong place.

I hate so many things, two examples are how the ALS ice bucket challenge was used for attencion w***** and the offensive vegans (I eat healthy like 90% of the time, but they misjudge and give invalid arguments for which I have multiple counter arguments) the thing is I am hated for my opinions and arguments, which is sad when I really care about the other person.​

That's not what I said. I'm gonna assume you didn't put words in my mouth on purpose, and urge you to read my post again.

I worship the moon (named after it too) because it gives me hope, makes me happy, and I look to it when I have issues. It makes me feel better and helps me, which is what I think religion is really about.

I hate FF7. I found it boring, uninspiring, and I was put off by most of the characters and how they acted. I even liked FF13 more than it. I enjoyed almost every other FF game I played except 7. I also feel like the game wouldn't be hailed as highly if a certain you-know-who didn't die.

The Witcher 2 couldn't keep my interest longer than a couple hours, so I feel it's not even worth my time. Even Call of Duty games kept my interest longer. I gave Witcher 2 a fair enough chance to hook me and I think it failed.

Never been a large fan of Megaman. (Also think he has a poopy moveset in Smash)

I don't think Super Meat Boy is difficult. I think it's repetition until it gets engraved into your brain. And yeah, I've played a healthy dose of it. People heralding it as "Brutal because if you die it's your own fault and nobody to blame but you, 10/10." Of course it's your own fault. The levels never change, the enemies never adapt, the player (most of the time) doesn't have to change strategy. The game gives you a level that often can only be completed one specific way, and if you mistime anything you start over. Rinse and repeat until you finish it. Then do it faster if you desire. This goes for a lot of the "Leaderboard attack" games out there.

Not a big fan of humans in general. And I don't mean that in a brooding, self-excluding sense that humanity is a waste of time, blah blah. Nor do I hate any humans for really any reason. I just think humans as a species are just kind of crappy to each other.

Being polyamorous, I think the sheer notion that someone should be forbidden to love someone just because she loves someone else is ridiculous. Love is not a science with exact rules, it's a feeling. Not bound by social standards such as color, race, orientation, gender, religion, age, etc. (Yes, age. I'm not talking about physical love, but love in the purest sense of the word)

I'm always offended when people use Autistic or Asperger's as an insult.

Also i don't think religion is a bad thing, and that it has helped society a lot.

being offended is a choice. making a joke about a deadly disease shouldn't equate to: "My mom died of that, which means you are making fun of my dead mom" and then I'm sitting there like: " I DON'T EVEN KNOW YOU!"

I can't tell you how many times I have told a joke that is even slightly in bad taste. and a person I don't even know, not part of the conversation, treks across the room to me and yells in my face about it.
