If you just had an update on your PS3 it is most likely just to prepare that version of the game to find PS4 players / games with Cross-Play and vice-versa.

Ok. I immediately noticed they made the rainbow brick/wall change colors in chest/inventory/safe etc. Also, they fixed the loading time for joining a friend/stranger world, changing dye, so other players can see when it was changed, and also fixed the pets, so players can see when it was changed.
