Weapons & Equip Upgrade for the Terraspark Boots

Pretty sure the benefit is the superior jump speed, the reason you'd want the Frog Leg in the first place, allowing faster vertical mobility at the cost of not having the flight time. The one reason someone would want it in the Terraspark Boots in the first place.

hmm. Now, the reason that I believe that amphibian boots are bad is because I use frog gear and Ninja gear. I also don't like the amphibian boots because theyre too slow. I mean they're really really slow. a little bit of vertical speed is not worth 17 mph in my eyes.

The difference between Amphibian and Terraspark speed-wise is not that drastic. 31mph vs 35mph. I've personally never used amphibian boots, but it's a lot less work for only a minor speed difference (same speed as normal Hermes Boots), and the jump speed, jump height, and auto-jump benefits from the Frog Leg, plus the effects also buff wings, so I can see why someone would prefer them.

(this is going to be off topic) why ain't you using Asgardian Aegis? I find it superior to the Gear in all ways (although, again, I am an Infernum player, you kinda need a ram in that game mode)

You know, this explains a lot. Nothing from vanilla can even come close to anything in Calamity, especially in this case, where Statis' Ninja Belt already gives the jumping benefits from the Frog Leg, and that combined with the boot-wings makes Amphibian Boots entirely obsolete

That is not a great idea, you are just tier locking it to a certain tier with no rhyme or reason (feels like on of the bandaid patchs Calamity does to vanilla content, if I am being honest). This is worse, since ectoplasm is post Plantera, the same time you get access to Soaring Insignia, which invalidates TSpark when used with wings. TSpark's obtainability early on if you are willing to grind for them makes them fairly unique. If you really want it to be tier locked, something like post Skeletron makes more sense, since most people go to the Underworld at that time.

because, I use Rampart instead, and I find statis' belt to be more agaile
