Upgraded Accessories adds several new accessories that combines existing accessories and/or has entirely new effect.

You can download this mod from the mod browser or github.

Recipe : Terraspark Boots + Celestial Starboard + 8 of each fragments + 8 Luminite Bars

"It begins and ends here now"
Getting hit releases fury of the nature or the cosmos every 5 seconds
Terra leaves target a nearby enemy for 30 damage
Black hole pulls nearby enemies or gravitates towards bosses for 150 damage
Allows ultra fast running and extra mobility on ice
Allows flight and slow fall
Press UP to ascend faster, press DOWN to hover
Provides the ability to move freely in and walk on liquid
Grants immunity to fire blocks and 14 seconds of immunity to lava
15% Increased movement speed

The Seed counts as wings and can't be worn together with other wings.
The Seed's wing is about as strong as celestial starboard if it did have a "bug" where its max ascend speed becomes LOWER if the player is holding UP

Recipe : Star Veil + Sweetheart Necklace Hive Pack + 8 Luminite Bars/Bee Cloak + Heartcross Necklace + Hive pack + 8 Luminite Bars

"With great power comes great responsibility"
Causes 3 exploding stars to fall and releases 2 to 5 incredibly strong beesiles when damaged
They all deal (100 in classic, 200 in expert, 300 in master) damage and have 40 armor penetration
Increases length of invincibility and douses the user in honey after taking damage
Minor increase to all stats
Turns the holder into a werewolf or merfolk
Increases the strength of friendly bees
Increases movement speed after being struck

Beesiles will take "damage" when colliding with tiles and bounce back. Beesiles that die this way will just leave a gore behind and not explode. Enemies directly hit by the moons or beesiles will take damage from the initial hit and following explosion.

"Journey's Beginning"
14 defense
Recover 15% of the damage taken after 3 seconds
Getting hit again in 3 seconds will only heal 10% of the damage
but increases the length of the invincibility proportional to the heal amount
Puts a shell around the owner when below 50% life that reduces damage
Absorbs 25% of damage done to players on your team(Hide visual to disable this effect)
Allows the player to dash through the enemies
Grants immunity to knockback and fire blocks
Grants immunity to most debuffs and resistance to others
Grants immunity to most environmental hazzards
Wearer can run even faster on sand

Healing for 1 life will grant additional 2 frames of invincibility up to 40 frames.
This item grants immunity to original ankh shield immunity and sandstorm's wind effect
This item grants resistance to:
On Fire!, Frostburn : 90% resistance
Frozen, Cursed Inferno, Ichor, Oozed, Withered Armor, Withered Weapon, Webbed, Hellfire, Frostbite : 66% resistance
Venom, Blackout, Distorted, Electrified, Shadowflame, Dazed : 50% resistance
Resistance reduces duration of the debuff

Completely ignore weak enemies or projectiles from them
Formula : NPC score : NPC_DAMAGE / 2 + NPC_DEFENSE * 2 + MAX(NPC_LIFEMAX / 5, 40) + NPC_KBRESIST * 50
Player score : PLAYER_DEFENSE / 2 + PLAYER_LIFEMAX / 4
NPC score is doubled in classic mode
Curse strong enemies with attacks to inflict heavy DOT debuff
Enemies will take 50% of the damage taken in 5 seconds for 10 seconds
Enemies will be executed if the DOT would be more than 150% of their life
Cannot apply more curse while the enemy is taking curse damage
6% increased damage and critical strike chance
Increases armor penetration by 6
Reduces the cooldown of healing potions by 666 frames or 25%(whichever is smaller)
6 defense

Execution effect will display 100.1 - 120.0 times the actual amount of the damage.
666 frames is 11.1 seconds. This effect does stack with philosopher's stone.
NPC score is doubled in classic mode so that the player can't ignore late hardmode enemies while allowing expert mode players to ignore early hardmode enemies. Master mode players can barely ignore any enemy by design.

Recipe : Architect Gizmo Pack + Magiluminescence + Soaring Insignia + Bone Helm + 8 Luminite Bars

"Not to be confused with a gadgetpack"
Set and use the hotkey to hover infinitely with very fast movement at the cost of dealing only 5% weapon damage
Summons strong shadow hands with 60 damage and 40 armor penetration only while hovering
Drastically increases tile and wall placement speed and reach
Automatically paints placed objects
Grants infinite wing and rocket boot flight
Increases flight and jump mobility
Increases movement speed and acceleration
Grants night vision and light

The shadow hands behave exactly like vanilla ones, just with more damage and armor penetration. Equiping additional bone helm does work.

Recipe : Master Ninja Gear + S. G. Trio + Worm Scarf + Brain of Confusion + 12 Luminite Bars

"My Sensei's scroll has no pathetic tricks, [Player Name]"
Gives 3 decoys that grant additional 10%p dodge chance
Decoys regenerate after not getting hit nor using any items for 6 seconds
Consuming a decoy grants a short damage buff for 5 seconds
Having less decoys grants stronger buff
Allows the ability to climb walls and dash
Gives 15% chance to dodge attacks
Increases jump height and negates fall damage
Increases jump speed and allows auto-jump
Reduces damage taken by 10%

[Player Name] will be replaced by local character's name in game.
Each decoy(balloon, pinata, frog) has different effect but behaves the same. Having 3 decoy grants total 45% chance to dodge an attack. Each tier of damage buff grants 10% more damage but overrides prior ones.

Shoots 4 additional bobbers when fishing
Forces shops to have max happiness discount
Fishing line will never break, decreases chance of bait consumption, increases fishing power by 20
Allows fishing in lava
All attacks inflict midas to enemies and have a chance to drop money
Increases item/coin pickup range and shops prices lowered by 20%
Hide visual to disable item/coin pickup range increase

Shops will always have maximum discount(40% off). This does not stack with discount card.
Shops will also always have maximum sell price(33.33% bonus).
Coin drop is much better than vanilla counterpart(higher chance, higher amount, higher chance for silver/gold coins)

Recipe : Fire Gauntlet + Yoyo Bag + Bone Glove + 16 Luminite Bars + 20 Solar Flare Fragments

"Harness the power of the sun"
Melee hits release solar flare explosions with 80 melee damage that spawns 3 additional flares every 3 seconds
They will also deal 80 melee damage, prioritize other enemies and have instant travel time
Increases melee knockback
Gives the user master yoyo skills
15% increased melee damage and speed
10% increased melee critical chance
Enemies are more likely to target you

In multiplayer, the additional flares will be sometimes invisible but still deal damage. This is due to that they only last for a single frame and the server sometimes won't try to sync the projectile because it is long gone and fixing this is beyond any mod's ability.

Recipe : Sniper Scope + Magic Quiver + Spore Sac + 16 Luminite Bars + 20 Vortex Fragments

"Paragon of human ability : DRONE CERTIFICATION"
Summons a vortex arrow that will chase down enemies and deal 50 ranged damage
It will also charge up vortex drones that deal 200 ranged damage to attack a nearby enemy every 10 hits
They will only attack enemies with more than 500 life every 6th proc(5 drones then another proc)
Increases view range for guns (Hide visual to disable this effect)
20% increased ranged damage and 15% increased ranged critical chance
20% chance to not consume ammo
Increases arrow speed and grants 20% chance to not consume arrow

Vortex arrow will slightly desync for other players as it's supposed to rotate slower after just hitting an enemy, but other clients don't know that it hit anything so it retains fater rotational speed for them. This would be fixed with constantly spamming syncs every time it hit an enemy, but this is barely noticeable in most cases while burdening network, so I chose to not fix this.

"Tons of Damage"
Grants fluctuating buffs that boosts damage, life/mana regen respectively
Having more than 70% life/mana will boost other stats instead
Having less than 30% life/mana will boost itself at the cost of other stats
Hide visual to disable UI
15% increased magic damage and critical chance
Increases pickup range for stars
8% reduced mana usage
You automatically use mana potions when needed
Restores mana when damaged
Increases maximum mana by 20

Each stat will have score value of 2 by default. Having enough life/mana will boost other stats by 1 and lower itself by 2. Having critical life/mana will boost itself by 2 and lower other stats by 1. Player gains 10% * score magic damage, and regenerate 2 * score life/mana per second.

"Ancient knowledge at your fingertips"
Summons a guardian that periodically block any attack then enter rage mode
Block cooldown scales with original damage blocked and is reduced with max number of minions
Formula : ORIGINAL_DAMAGE * (16 - MIN(8, PLAYER_MINION)) / 60 seconds
The guardian deals 60 summon damage and will always wait 1 second before attacking anything
20% increased minion damage
Increases your max number of minions by 2
Increases your max number of sentries by 1
Increases knockback of your minions

While the guardian does move around the player, it does not actually physically block the attack and can be anywhere to block the attack.

Combines ankh shield and desert diving gear
*Swth(or Seth, Set) is an(or one of the) egyptian god of sandstorm

Vengeance

Now requires celestial shell too
No longer requires mana cuff
Now stars and beesiles deal much more damage and have innate armor penetration(like star cloak stars)
Now grants honey buff after getting hit
Now grants celestial shell effect

Nebula Flower
Now called Nebula Balancer
Now requires mana bracelet(new item) instead of mana flower
Now grants 5% more magic critical chance
Now grants damage/life/mana buff according to the player needs

Stardust Scroll
Now called Stardust Manual
Now requires mechanical minecart instead of worm scarf
Now summons a starmech guardian that blocks any incoming damage and enter rage mode
Rage mode guardian deals 60 summon damage and rage mode ends when another block is ready
Block cooldown scales with incoming damage and is reduced by max summon
Reduced minion damage bonus by 10%
No longer summons a stardust shield
No longer grants shield that scales with player's summon damage and max summon

Vortex Scope
Now called Vortex Controller
Now only summons 1 vortex arrow
Vortex arrow summons a vortex drone every 10 hits
Vortex drones will attack a nearby enemy after 5 of them are ready
Each vortex drone deals 200 ranged damage

Final Delivery
Removed as throwing class is no longer a thing in vanilla

Celestial Child/Shooting Star Overdrive System
Removed temporarily as we are trying to figure out if they fit in the thorium mod style and balance

WARNING: CRITICISM (CRITIQUES) AHEAD

I love the textures, for the most part, they are really good. One change I would suggest, however, is the wing texture (When you are flying).

They became obsolete with new items and they didn't add much to the game in the first place.
donno about the divine wings thou, endgame wings that combine the ankh charm and various defensive bonuses together into 1 item seemed pretty lit.

the other items I can see, but they were just parts of a larger items later on too.

Lunar ninja boots now counts as wings, so it can't be worn with divine wings anyways. Holy ankh shell is still there with new effect.
Holy ankh shell grants immunity to cursed flames and ichor as well, so I removed those immunities from exoskeleton and consequently, destroyer scarf and prime brain.

gotcha, though it seems too meta these days to give boots the wings properties. But it's your mod and thus your call.

I was wondering the same thing. Wanted to play through calamity, but still keep some of these items from my normal playthrough. Are they compatible, or will it glitch and crash?

shouldn't happen, TMODLoader was designed to work in harmony with other mods.
And this mod doesn't do anything super extreme that would cause conflicts.
 
Hey Gortart i love the way this mod looks but i was wondering if it worked with Calamity's boots because i'm gonna do a playthrough of Calamity and i want to use this mod
Unfortunately lunar ninja boots and seraph tracers(and its deritives) both count as wings so you can only equip one. It should be fine with other items though.

There shouldn't be an issue. Be sure to let me know if something goes wrong though.
 
This looks really cool!

I was wondering though if there could be a config to enable/disable different accessories (and their recipes ofc) or "modules" (Like Boots, Mech Boss Accessories, End-game items, Shields, etc.) because I already have several boot upgrades.

Anyway, cool mod otherwise and I can't wait to check it out!
 
I love this mod, is super useful, but I have a little problem.
The Boots/Wings are obtained too late in the game, if you haven't a Post-moonlord mod the boots are... a bit useless. Maybe a fusion between Frostsparks + Lava Waders + Ninja Gear (For dash & dodge) = [Legendary Boots] + Pumpkin/Frost moon events Wings (Festive, Spooky, Tattered fairy) = Definitive Boots/Wings

It's just suggestion, anyways I love your work and I'll watch for new updates.
 
I really like this mod but one issue I had is with the Lunar Ninja Boots. With the water walking part I can't dip into honey in my boss arena while running due to walking over it. Although I'd rather have the boots than the regen buff I wish I could get both :(
 
Wouldn't Frost dash boots be expert exclusive ? Since it requires Shield of Cthulhu and all. And the fact its not Rainbow rarity keeps bugging me.
 
I like the way you are thinking of combing accesories,i like combing them too, though some stuff doesn't feel right,like maybe shield of Cthulhu and frostspark boots don't work togther,but other than that stuff i like this mod

Use bubble block instead of a pool for your honey. You can run through it as bubble blocks are ignored by your character.
 
I think I have compatibility issue with "UpgradedAccessories" with "Leveled" mod.

As you can see, the item gives you more damage base on your missing health, so 500 health works just fine. But the "Leveled" mod tends to give you more than 500 health if you leveled up enough (mine is 2500+ health), so the item decreases my damage down to less than 0 if I exceeds the 500 health limit, that means more damage when health goes down, less damage when health exceeds the limit.

Can you do anything about this bug? Thanks in advance!

I think I have compatibility issue with "UpgradedAccessories" with "Leveled" mod.

I don't think I can fix it from my side. I've tried several hooks but they are either too early or too late.
And FYI, it does work nicely with lifeforce potion or calamity's max health items.
