Blocks & Decoration Wall-mounted lamps

I'm surprised this isn't already mentioned, but it's one of my long-time wishes. Here it is: stylish light fixtures that mount to the sides of blocks, and to background walls. They could be 1x2 in size and would come in all the currently existing flavors, just as the lamps and lanterns do. Their usefulness lies in bringing light where you need it when you don't want to use plain or colored torches, rather something with style - without having to place a block in the middle of a big room to bring a lantern closer to the floor, or occupying floor space with a lamp. They exist in real-life houses too. Just another creative option which I would relish the chance to employ. How do the rest of you feel?

I agree, lamps should be mountable on background walls the same way torches are.

I feel like this needs to be on the first page. Lighting needs a middle ground that isn't torches.

It isn't bad idea but remember they will need some new remake/image when they will do it.
Look close at these and will maybe will know it now.

Aboce show how they are in game placed and bellow how they could be remaked to do it (used item image). Silme isn't just only but there are very much of them.
