Blocks & Decoration Wardrobe

Yeah I agree with how this sounds really not useful, but wardrobes are a nice idea and I think it wouldn't be too hard to think of a more a unique function for them.

Two ideas I came up with are, you can store a single Loadout inside a wardrobe, and clicking on the wardrobe will switch your loadout with what's inside. So it'd be like extra placeable loadouts that can also be used by other players, could be convenient for maps.
The other idea I came up with is just that they work like dressers in Stardew Valley. You could store an infinite amount of armor and vanity inside them, but they would all share the same player inventory, like a piggy bank. This would also be useful since armor and vanity sets tend to be annoying to store since each setpiece takes up its own slot. Only issue I see with this idea is they'd probably have to implement a new UI for that.

with the idea of more extensive armor/costumes set swapping sounds really good and convenient. It's like f1-3 but you can store more sets in there

I'll be honest, I don't think it even needs to have a unique function to justify its existence. Just being a piece of furniture is enough to make it a good addition. Make it a chest for flavor and that's really all you need.

I'm not against it getting a unique function, but it doesn't  need to have one to be a good inclusion to the game. I'd place them everywhere in my builds even if all they did was stand there and look pretty.

No, otherwise it will be too overloaded. It will not be mannequin. It will just be a beautiful attribute for storing sets of costumes and armor
A chest (or dresser) would be so much better for storing armor and mannequins would better for showing them off. I'm seconding what @Coleyohley said. Wardrobes would be fine as just being furniture. (or furniture that can be used as a chest)

This gives me an idea though. What if mannequins had an button/option to swap the stuff you wear in your vanity slots with the stuff the mannequin was wearing.
