Water 'Stream' physics being a bit broken + borderline "nude" vanity + Tree Signs...?

I'm not going to get too specific, most of what I'm going to report here is relatively self explanatory.
Why do water streams work fine like this; http://i.imgur.com/z6QN4na.png
But as soon as I put actual water in, that ceases to remain; http://i.imgur.com/DSWTyC9.png
    Don't get me wrong I LOVE the way water was updated in 1.3, but it feels like it was kind of rushed, or not checked over very well;
Okay, I can maybe understand this.... http://i.imgur.com/ZsB4dp9.png
But what in the world happened here? http://i.imgur.com/q8TusOl.png
Seriously, what are the sprites doing? http://i.imgur.com/DljTwOl.png
Shouldn't the water be flowing or something here? http://i.imgur.com/tmkqzyE.png
    Uhm.... http://i.imgur.com/GiVd2Z3.png
    Wha-- http://i.imgur.com/HLvdIGW.png
You get the idea. Some of the water 'physics' are a bit broken. I'm not sure if this is multiplayer only, I know at least one or two of them work in singleplayer, but I don't see why that would matter. I also don't think the block type matters either.

As for the borderline "nude" vanity, I made a post on twitter to cenx about this, but I don't know if she ever saw it, understandably, so I'm going to replug what I said here, as I feel this should probably be properly addressed.
With things like Dryad Loincloth + Brown Dye, it's not hard to get to here; http://i.imgur.com/W2YREMM.png
Or with some shadow dye, and whatever breast piece this is, and loincloth + shifting sands dye (I believe that's what dye was being used here), this is also possible; http://i.imgur.com/eiMp14D.png
I'm not sure what else is possible in this regard, and I'm not sure if this was intended to look this way (I sure hope not), but I feel it deserves to be mentioned. It's not really a bug, It's more so just a bit of a sprite..... miscalculation....... for lack of describing words.

and last but not least, Signs on Trees. A minor complaint I posted about and got hassled about numerous times, I noticed one time that the sign on a wall to the left/right sprite seems to work on trees, but the game refuses to actually let you place them on the sides of trees. I personally think this should be fixed/allowed. I don't see why it doesn't work.
Here's the small video clip I created over this.

There's nothing wrong with your character being "naked". The graphics are too pixely to actually show any detail.
  3. Cloode

    Elaborate "detail"

Can't say those words on a PG-13 website! The little kiddies will be traumatized.

I think you know what I mean, though.

    probably maybe

In all seriousness, and I don't mean to overgeneralize, but I think Terraria was targeted generally for a bit younger of an audience than what is generally considered an appropriate age for nudity. Like you said, this is obviously not nudity. It's not a huge issue, however, I do think it has enough of an implication, and a close enough version of nudity that it may be worth the devs at the very least darkening the dye on this particular item, or something alike.

Its not nudity if you literally just colored your clothes flesh tone. ;)

There are some oddities with waterfall physics, but its usually not that significant; most of what you showed was either water not flowing through sloped blocks (spoilers: it doesn't flow through sloped blocks) or the sprite of waterfalls/flowing water overlapping in odd ways. We do have some of these issues logged, however.
