So I notice we can place bars just now. And tried placing gold bars on a surface like the table and it didn't work. I think this would be cool to decorate treasure rooms.

It probably has something to do with the size of the image so we got the compromise of being able to place them anywhere else…just guessing. However I do like your idea…I just haven’t actually placed any bars yet. It would be cool to be able to place coins as well to decorate treasure rooms.

you can already place coins! Here's an image (Note that I was using a texture pack that recolors them, but these are coins)

Ah good to know…thanks for correcting my ignorance. It sounds like we can place quite a few more items now. I’m gonna have to get back into playing soon.
