Items Weather machine: changes the weather

MasterworkStone

Duke Fishron
Works similar to the sundial, right clicking it opens a menu to select clear weather or rainy weather and for how long from a minute to permanent, initially you can only choose between rainy and clear, it's unable to change the weather if it's currently a weather it doesn't have. You can find weather machine parts to craft with the weather machine, giving it more options for weather control.
The machine itself might be a rare drop from a new regular rain enemy, parts for the machine are a rare drop from the new weather specific enemies.

New weathers that have a variety of effects would be introduced:
  • Acid Rain- drains health of any non-immune mob caught in it including the player, water being directly hit by acid rain will occasionally spawn an acid water monster. Bosses, event mobs, and other such beings are immune to acid rain.
  • Scorcher- new heat based enemies would begin spawning all over the map except in snow biomes, during this time snow biome-specific enemies spawn less often
  • Fog- a thick fog that acts like darkness, the player has a limited range of visibility around them reaching up to 20 blocks away, the fog is 95%% transparent where the player stands with everything beyond 20 blocks being 0%, this limited range of visibility applies to the player's map as well. Light sources break through the fog allowing the player(s) to see as far as the light reaches, the fog works the same way rain does except from all angles, this way the fog won't penetrate houses and will still cover everything beyond 20 blocks. Terrible weather for fighting bosses that don't glow. Fog has two enemies, the first enemy randomly wanders around in the fog, but turns hostile when the player comes within 18 blocks of it, it attempts to run off screen and despawn when the fog disappears. The second enemy is a mirror image of the player with all of the player's stats from when the enemy spawned, the damage type of the weapon the player was holding at the time decides what kind of attack they'll use.
  • Windy- wind can blow left or right, anything moving against the wind will move slower, moving with the wind will have the opposite effect, anything flying/floating will be more heavily affected than if they were touching the ground, new wind specific enemies will fly around immune to the wind's effects. Bosses, event mobs, and other such beings are immune to wind.
  • Cats and Dogs- cats and dogs are new friendly critters that will fall from the sky, among them are enemy cats and dogs that will attack the player, each other, and the friendly cats and dogs.
  • Golden Rain- gold coins pour down from the sky, to your surprise they're actually just chocolate coins that recover 15 health, they're worth nothing but have a few different crafting recipes that range from chocolate bars to crowns you can wear made out of their tin wrappers, there's a very rare chance that a Golden Rain weather machine part will fall down.
  • Heavy Rain- Just like rain except more droplets and more new rain enemies, being in the rain will give you the "soaked" debuff, electrical enemies that spawn in this weather deal bonus damage to you. Holding the umbrella, wearing the umbrella hat in vanity or equip, or having the raincoat+rainhat in the vanity or equip slots will prevent this debuff
