Linux Werewolves not dropping Adhesive Bandage

This might turn out to just be REALLY bad luck, but the consistency was worth pointing out.

Basically, Adhesive Bandages do not seem to be dropping from Werewolves. I feel that this is a bug and not a skill issue because many Werewolves that I have killed have dropped Moon Charms, but none of them had dropped the Adhesive Bandage. I have killed over 100 werewolves, and have obtained six Moon Charms, and no Adhesive Bandages.

I have an inkling that this might be a bug in the game's code.

I am playing on Expert Mode, with a Linux computer running Debian 12.

Is anyone else having this issue?

Edit: The bandage has a 1/50 chance of dropping in Expert Mode instead of a 1/100 in Classic Mode. The Moon Charm's drop rate is unaffected by Expert Mode, and thus is actually lower than the Adhesive Bandage as 1.67% compared to the bandage's 1.99%. I thought that was worth clarifying.

According to the wiki, the adhesive bandage has a 1% drop rate from werewolves so if you have killed 100 of them then on average you should have only 1. I think it is just a luck issue. If you want to farm more, I would recommend going after rusty armored bones (post plantera dungeon) or anglerfish as they aren’t restricted by the moon phase.

Very very bad luck string. I don't know if Werewolves are included, but there are many cases where if an enemy has multiple rare drops, it can only roll one at a time. This means that if it applies to them, then when you get a Moon Charm, you have a 0% chance of getting a Bandage from that particular Werewolf.

If you feel particularly frisky, you can search for Bezoars and throw a duplicate one into the Shimmer instead.

I do think this is really just bad luck. Even if you killed 150 Werewolves then at a drop rate of 1/50 you'd still have an around ~5% chance of not having gotten the Bandage. Which is unlikely, but by no means anomalous.
