Well, I've got 3 (almost 4) endgame characters. One from each major version of the game. I started in 1.1, with my first character:

Cassiel. An angel destined to topple gods.
Steampunk Goggles (Stardust Dye)
Spectre Robe (Stardust Dye)
Spectre Pants (Stardust Dye)
Angel Halo (Pixie Dye)
Jim's Wings (no dye)

Next came 1.2, so I decided I'd make a ranged playthrough with...

Ashlyn. A heroine in a world tearing itself apart.
Lazure's Valkyrie Circlet (Black and White Dye)
Kimono (Silver and Black Dye)
Vortex Booster (Black and White Dye)
Diamond Ring (no dye)

And, finally, 1.3. Having not done a melee playthrough before, I decided to try being a tank.

EDIT: I'd like to mention that all the Dev Vanities were obtained legitimately. I created an expert world, got it to hardmode and demolished Mechs/Golems to get tonnes of treasure bags
