What happen when Terraria will Update for 1.3.6?

just a simple question....no option to stop the update..
there is a way to prevent that? cause i dont want to suddenly lose all my mods/loader.

can you "downgrad" your game or need to backyp some files?

You can prevent it by stopping automatic updates if you own the game on Steam. Then you can decide on your own when you want to update the game.

(That is, unless you cannot play untill it's up to date?)
