I've been playing with the default controls so far but I wanted to change my grappling hook key. However, whenever I click to change the keybind - or any other keybind - it instantly changes to something called "ChatPadGreen' and disables my left click. I can't click to change any controls in the menu, I can't click to get out of the menu, all I can do is ALT+F4. When I get back in, the keybinds are back to normal, but if I try to change any keybinds ChatPadGreen shows up again and requires another AlT+F4. So for now I have no choice but to never change any of my keybinds.
Any ideas as to how I can fix this? From what I can tell, ChatPadGreen is a button on the Xbox Chatpad controller, the one with a keyboard attached to the bottom. Which is strange, since I don't have this device, and in fact had never heard about it until today. I do have a regular Xbox One controller but ChatPadGreen shows up regardless of whether it's connected or not. I've restarted Steam and my PC multiple times. Nothing's changed, every time I try to change a keybind, it instantly becomes assigned to ChatPadGreen and I lose the ability to left-click.
