actually, this was in 1.2.2, so death sickles were nigh unobtainable. eclipses couldn't be summoned, and death sickles only had a 1% drop chance.I hate it when that happens.
It must have been frustrating to learn about the Death Sickle afterwards.

Does it have to be a fight that I won? Because expert Skeletron killed me in less than five seconds during our first fight. At least I lasted, like, fifteen seconds during my first Moon Lord battle on normal mode.
As for winning, I would say beating the Twins on console. It never once occurred to me to use a gun, probably because I was too stingy to buy bullets, so I tried melee. I eventually beat them with Golden Shower and Death Sickle (you could get that pre-mechs in 1.2).
