What is the worst boss in your opinion?

King Slime. He is really boring to fight, but he is okay for a very early game boss.

But I don't necessarily really dislike any of the bosses nor do I think that any one of them are "objectively" bad.
 
Golem is probably the worst. It's fight is too difficult but in a way that is cluttered, unpredictable and annoying. It's not a challenge challenge, it's just bad and hard to fight.

Golem isn’t too bad imo, I only don’t really like it because it feels like an arbitrary mid point between Plantera and Cultist.
 
I feel if the temple were changed to be larger and had a comedically bigger battle room, and that if we made Golem A LOT larger & faster, and replaced the easy to break Lihzahrd pressure plates with logic gates that require a Picksaw to mine that will make the traps that his fight room contains check for if people are below him would fix Golem, as now not only do you have to dodge a much bigger golem, you also have to dodge traps too

Give the player the Creative Shock Debuff when behind Lihzahrd walls until they beat golem

That’s going too far. The unbreakable walls are enough, let alone just removing the ability to place blocks.

Make the traps ignore blocks except for Lihzahrd bricks until golem is defeated

I will literally just sit on the ceiling with gravitation potion I do not care.
Also why fix the jungle temple hoik when the jungle temple has nothing you can progression skip with.
Also also, creative shock still lets you throw explosives, so it doesn’t actually help.

every boss is laughably easy when you use a cheese method
even the extremely hard ones
like Moon Lord is a good difficult boss that genuinely feels like a true final battle against a god if you fight him the intended way
but Moon Lord becomes a poorly designed joke once you set up a Regen chamber or use the nurse cheese
EoL Daytime is a difficult hellish challenge with a heavenly reward if you fight them normally
but find a flare gun from one of the hundreds of golden chests underground and buy like 1000 flares for no more than 5 gold which you can easily afford by just beating the EoC, which you can find a spawner of in the exact same chests, and fire them on the ground and suddenly EoL Daytime is one of the easiest fights in the game it's literally just "beat it in under 5 minutes without projectiles and fall through a platform every time they screech"
Destroyer has a massive health bar and extreme defenses and so many lasers, posing a massive threat and is meant to show how merciless Hardmode can be
but if you make them spawn all coiled up and use a adamantite glaive on the coil bam 95% down in 6 seconds and do the remaining 5% with a nights edge's aura slash
every boss is ruined by cheese methods, if you don't use a gravitation potion to avoid these updated traps, then the fight would be a lot more fun and harder

The thing is, all of those cheese methods you described require a lot of setup or knowledge of the game’s mechanics. With gravitation vs golem you just do this:
- drink the potion
- press UP once. You don’t need to go back down so no point in pressing it again

I don’t think the traps were ever intended to be lasting. Just minor nuisances to insist caution.

gotta love how no one thinks the EoC is a bad boss
