What Song Are You Listening to Right Now?

Lovers of fantasy and science fiction, progressive/symphonic rock, and general cosmicness will likely enjoy Olias of Sunhillow by Jon Anderson (of Yes).

Inspired by Roger Dean's cover art for the Yes album "Fragile," Anderson wrote a story of three beings who visit a doomed planet, induce trees and fishes to craft a great ship, gather the peoples of the world, calm their fears, and transport them to a new homeworld.

Then he made an album of elaborate, densely instrumented songs to give life to his words. Taking the tale full circle, the album's artwork (by David Fairbrother Roe) depicts the three heroes, Sunhillow's disintegration, and the flight of the Moorglade Mover in wonderful detail.
