Whats your favorite song?

I overheard a particular track from Seba, titled "Camouflage". Not available on Youtube in my country...

But damn, it's a fine piece of jungle.

My favorite? Hmm....

Hard to say, so I'll go with favorite artists.

  • Breaking Benjamin
  • Linkin Park
  • "Weird Al" Yankovic
  • Hammerfall
  • Ellie Goulding
  • Pendulum
  • Poets of the Fall
  • Muse
  • Florence and the Machine
Pretty much anything by them would be my favorite song.

Anything that is Techno, Namely
Dj striden/Caedmon Barry
Dj Harmonics
S3RL(just because of the song less than 3)
Avicii
Synx
Audio Paradyne
and Dj Ness Ft. Nil Llorens - Fart of Destiny

It's gotta be one of the following:
  • Creeping In My Soul (Cryoshell)
  • Nevereverland (ナノ nano)
  • Hide (Red)

header note: if it weren't for commander tom's d*mn trance set, I wouldn't know this guy

Out of all the music that floored me last month alone, it wasn't anywhere in this year that it played -- it's a classic going back down to 2001!

Yes I had been revisiting that moment of 13 years ago, when Dave the Drummer had at least one play in almost every big name's DJ sets.
This particular one is Hydraulix 9 A.

Recommended: Dave The Drummer - Jacknife, Hydraulix 11 A, Hydraulix 8 B (w/ Chris Liberator); Si Begg - Welcome (Michael Burkat Remix)

Best option of purchase would be Beatport.

fact: dave the drummer is the owner and founder of hydraulix recordings, so named because the music makes you move.

Got Knife Party's new album, Abandon Ship, in the mail today, it's opening track, Reconnect, is probably the most awesome album opener ever.

I have way too many to list so I'll just post artists like others( In no particular order)....

The Doors
Creedence Clearwater Revival
Nirvana
Foo Fighters
Pearl Jam
Jimi Hendrix
Alice in Chains
My Chemical Romance
Pierce the Veil
Tyler, The Creator
Arctic Monkeys
Modest Mouse
Queen
Pink Floyd
Guns n' Roses
The Neighbourhood

I like a lot of music, but if we're sticking to stuff with lyrics that's not game music, here's a short list of some that I generally don't get tired of (and are on my current playlist):

"If Everyone Cared" by Nickelback (shhhh I don't care how much you hate the band, I like this song)
"Life of a Salesman" by Yellowcard
"Believe" by Yellowcard
"Bones Shatter" by Hedley
"Carnival of Rust" by Poets of the Fall
"Delicious" by Poets of the Fall
"Locking up the Sun" by Poets of the Fall (yes I like these guys)
"Kill the Lights" by The Birthday Massacre
"Spirit Never Die" by MasterPlan
"Titans of our Time" by Iron Savior
"The Mummer's Dance" by Loreena McKennitt (yeah kind of a departure)

Normally there'd be a load of, like, DragonForce, Nightwish (when Tarja was still with them), and Rhapsody, but those are much more situational and I don't listen to them as often now as I used to. I also really like the Aquabats, but less for casual listening and more for just silly shenanigans. Toss in a little bit of E-Nomine and a decent chunk of Anime/J-Rock for good measure (JAM Project, FTW!). IDEK I JUST REALLY LIKE A WEIRD SELECTION OF MUSIC WHEN IT'S NOT GAME MUSIC. =3=;;;;

I almost never seem to have a favor in music outside James Bond music, but well, I'll give my top three most favorite Bond songs:

#1: You Know My Name by Chris Cornell (Casino Royale)

#2: Forever (I am All Yours) by Eva Almer (Rejected theme for Quantum of Solace)

#3: Goldfinger by Shirley Bassey (Goldfinger)

Otherside from Bond music, I do have other favorites:

Back on a Mission - Cirrus
You'll Be Under My Wheels - The Prodigy
Nine Thou - Styles of Beyond
In a Hood Near You - Suni Clay
People Always Talk About the Weather - Yonderboi

I like a lot of OST, so there's a lot to choose from. Not really sure what my favorite would be but if you ask me about the OST from a show or game I like, I have a favorite track.

All of these...
(If you are under an age that doesn't care about swear words, don't listen to these. If you on the other hand, don't care about swear words, listen on, my friend.)
