Mac When can MAC & Linux come and play?

Here is the soul question. When can MAC & Linux use mods? I see mods released quite frequently for Windows, bot MAC & Linux are left out of the party completely.

Here are some solutions for MAC users:

But you need to realize that not all users can install wine.

Linux:
Absolutely nothing. Maybe Installing windows.

As far as I'm aware, tModLoader allready has MAC and Linux compatibility (+ cross platform compatibility, which means that mods made/build on windows can also be applied on MAC/Linux), so that's one way to use mods on MAC/Linux.
I'm not quite sure about PRISM (the other big API for Terraria mods), but you'll have to check their progression in the 'Released' section.
As for Standalone mods, that's totally dependant on the creators of the mods.
