He’s using a repeater (basically a bow) with Hellfire Arrows. You get Hellfire Arrows from the underworld and can just feed them to most bows to get what you’re looking for.

A repeater is the equivalent of a bow, the repeater the guy is using right now is obtained after the mech bosses but you can use any bow made with basic ores and it’ll do the same thing, just be weaker.

Hellfire Arrows are looted from the underworld, either in pots or crafted with Hellstone, the second one requiring you to kill the eater of worlds or brain of cthulhu first.
