You can not directly create a thread in Player Creations, Art, & Literature, only in one of the four subforums:

1. In-Game Creations & Screenshots
2. Terraria Videos (Let's Play, Reviews, etc.)
3. Terraria Drawings, Paintings, and Pixel Art
4. Terraria Literature and Music

If you can't post anything in those forums either, please let me know.

As addition, the threads that do appear directly are either official threads or threads that have been moved to that section by a moderator.
