Weapons & Equip Wings Slot

Be honest, most of the time you have wings equipped in hard mode, giving you only like 4 slots for other stuff.

Wof would drop item that allows you to have wings slot
Is called angels heart and looks like demon heart, but blue and instead of spikes angel wings.
Simple QoL feature.

They have already considered something like this, and the answer is simply no because of game balance reasons and problems with how it worked in the game's engine, IIRC.

There is actually a mod that gives you a wing slot right off the bat. However in terms of standard Vanilla gameplay, I would end up saying similar to what Sharkman said.

We're not here to talk about mods. I know there's this mod as well as many others for everyone, but we're here to talk about something that could improve in-game in any area of the game.

Personally I find that accessories are balanced between offense, defence and movement. Having Wings which already free up all other movement items makes it already a powerful accessory. Making it even more powerful by freeing up all needs for movement is what I too consider imbalanced.

The current flying mounts already partially cover up a wing slot in their own way. Along with their own drawbacks. And I think that's fine as is.
